Japanese: 蒲刈[町] - かまがり

A former town in Aki District, southern Hiroshima Prefecture. It covers the entire island of Kamikamagari in the Geiyo Islands. Except for the coast, the area is hilly and terraced farmland has developed. The main settlement is Miyazakari on the north coast. Citrus fruit cultivation is thriving. There is a large gravel crushing site. Regular ships call from Nigata in Kure City and Imabari in Ehime Prefecture. In March 2005, it was incorporated into Kure City along with Ondo Town, Kurahashi Town in Aki District, and Yasuura Town, Toyohama Town, and Toyo Town in Toyota District. ^{18.87 km2} . 2,697 people (2003).

広島県南部，安芸(あき)郡の旧町。芸予諸島中の上蒲刈島全島に当たり，海岸以外は丘陵地で階段状耕地が発達。中心集落は北岸の宮盛(みやざかり)。柑橘(かんきつ)類の栽培が盛ん。大規模な砂利砕石場がある。呉市の仁方(にがた)，愛媛県の今治(いまばり)から定期船が寄港。2005年３月安芸郡音戸町，倉橋町，豊田郡安浦町，豊浜町，豊町と呉市へ編入。18.87km²。2697人（2003）。
