Agricultural Modernization Fund Subsidy Law
A law enacted in 1961 that stipulates that the national and prefectural governments will subsidize interest on long-term, low-interest loans from agricultural cooperative funds to farmers and agricultural cooperatives. The subsidy covers facilities for agricultural modernization, agricultural machinery, livestock breeding, fruit cultivation, etc. It supplements the Basic Agricultural Law from a financial perspective.
