Forestry Bureau - Eirinkyok

A local subordinate organization of the Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, whose main duties were the management and operation of national and public forests, and the supervision of forest management offices. It was established in 1924. In 1999, it was abolished due to organizational changes within the Forestry Agency, and reorganized as the Forest Management Bureau. 国・公有林の管理経営、営林署の指導監督などを主な業務とした農林水産省林野庁の地方下部機関。大正13年（1924）発足。平成11年（1999）林野庁の組織改変に伴って廃止され、森林管理局に改組された。
