Forestry supervision system

…The Forest Law was first enacted in 1897 and was based on two pillars. The first was the forestry supervision system, and the second was the protected forest system. The forestry supervision system allowed the state to supervise forestry production activities and set standards for production while preventing degradation. The protected forest system (protected forests) was established as a complementary measure to the forestry supervision system to protect specific forests that could prevent soil runoff and landslides and protect against wind and sand.
