Air Jet Loom

...There are some that insert the rods from both sides at the same time and transfer them halfway, and others that use thin plates of rods that are bent outside the shed. (3) Air-jet loom This is a type of loom that inserts the weft with a jet of air. It was patented in the United States in 1917, but a practical version was made in 1949 by Kovo in Czechoslovakia. In Japan, practical machines have been produced since around 1980, and are attracting attention as jet looms for spinning yarn.
