...The military export of the revolution had failed. The last representative of the White Guard was General Pyotr N. Vrangel (1878-1928), who entered the Crimean Peninsula in June 1920 with 40,000 troops. In September, Wrangel's army had further strengthened and advanced into the Kuban region on the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
