Kuznets cycle

The growth rate cycle was discovered by S. Kuznets by analyzing the long-term fluctuations of real income. It has an average period of 20 years and is a long-term fluctuation that exceeds the Juglar cycle. In the United States, it is often said that the cause of this cycle is the movement of population and capital and the construction cycle based on them, but in Japan, the role of exports and the balance of payments tends to be emphasized.
