...On the summit of this mountain lies the Shiude ruins, a highland settlement from the middle of the Yayoi period. There is a place-name legend about Urashima Taro on the peninsula, and the island around Mt. Shiude was once called Urashima. Taro's father's hometown was Ieura, and Taro was born in Namari, traveled to Ryugu from Hakozaki, and when he returned to Tsumu and opened the treasure box, smoke rose from Mt. Shiude.
