…In 1614 (Keicho 19), Rippoji Temple in Musashi Fujibakama was relocated to Ome by Yoshino Oribe and became a training center, and flourished together with Ichigatsuji Temple in Shimousa. The sect centered around Ichigatsuji Temple was called the Kinzen sect (Kinsen sect), the sect around Rippoji Temple was called the Katsuso sect (Hoshi sect), the sect around Kyorinzan Myoanji Temple in Kyoto was called the Yoriku sect (sect founder Tengai Myofu), the sect around Rikōji Temple in Ota, Ueno was called the Ozasa sect (Shiso sect), the sect around Jikoji Temple in Takasaki was called the Umeji sect (Umeji sect), and the sect around Shingetsuji Temple in Shimotsuma, Hitachi was called the Kogiku sect (Kahyō sect). These sects of the Fuke sect are called the Six Fuke Sects. Among them, Ichigatsuji Temple and Rippoji Temple were designated as the head temples of the various sects and were in charge of the various temples in the Kanto region, while Myoanji Temple in Kyoto and other temples were in charge of this role in the Kansai region. …
