...In the reign of Ojin, this was the place where horses sent as tribute from Baekje were bred. In the Nihon Shoki, the entry for October of the third year of the Ojin era records the construction of a stable road by exterminating the Emishi in the east, and in the entry for August of the fifteenth year, the king of Baekje orders Achiki to breed two fine horses in the stables at Karu no Saka no Ue.
