...His most famous work, Black Square, was painted as what he called "zero form," and is an art of reason that takes the conceptual art of Cubism a step further. After the revolution, he formed the UNOVIS (Affirmation of New Art) group at the Vitebsk Art School, and developed Suprematism from two-dimensional painting to three-dimensional works. From 1923 to 1926, he produced the architectural three-dimensional composition Architecton in Leningrad, and in 1927 he left Russia to hold solo exhibitions in Warsaw and Berlin, returning to Germany with 70 works. ...
