Whiskey Bonbon - Whiskey Bonbon

...Originally a French childish word with multiple 'bon's', meaning something like 'delicious'. In Japan, whiskey bonbons and liqueur bonbons, which have liquor in a sugar coating, are well known, but there are many other types as well. For example, fondant is made by boiling a syrup made of sugar and water, cooling it, and kneading it until it turns white, then adding liquor and coloring, pouring it into a mold and letting it harden, or by covering it with chocolate. Dragées, which are sugar-coated nuts such as almonds, and jelly sweets are also included in the bonbon category.
