〘Noun〙 In esoteric Buddhism, a document given by an ajari to his disciple as proof of the transmission of secret teachings. ※Shui Ojoden ( around 1111) Part 2 "In the past, there were 131 people who were enlightened, 16 people who received the teachings, and 56 people who believed in the Buddhist teachings ."
