A book on gagaku. Written by Abe Suehisa. 50 volumes. Completed in 1690. The book scientifically and systematically describes almost all aspects of gagaku, including kagura, saibaraku, the structure and manufacturing of musical instruments, how to play them, musical composition explanations, music theory, Bugaku etiquette, costumes, Bugaku masks, performance records, and musicians. Furthermore, when there are differences from the Kyoto style to which he belonged, or when the methods of his time differed from those of the past, he takes a research-oriented attitude to clarify the differences, shedding light on the world of gagaku, which had previously been largely closed off, and becoming a valuable resource for future gagaku research.

雅楽書。安倍季尚 (すえひさ) 著。 50巻。元禄3 (1690) 年成立。内容は神楽，催馬楽，楽器の構造，製法，その演奏法，楽曲解説，音楽理論，舞楽作法，装束，舞楽面，演奏記録，楽人など，雅楽のほとんど全領域にわたり，科学的かつ体系的に記述されている。さらに彼の属する京都方の流儀と異なるものがある場合や，当時と過去のやり方が異なる場合には，その相違を明らかにするという研究的態度もとっており，従来閉ざされた部分の多かった雅楽の世界が明らかとなり，後世の雅楽研究に貴重な資料となっている。
