Born in 1830. Younger brother of Miyazaki Kurumasuke. A samurai of Akizuki Domain, Chikuzen (Fukuoka Prefecture). In 1876, in response to the Shinpuren Rebellion in Kumamoto, he raised an army (Akizuki Rebellion) together with his brother and Iso Atsushi. He was defeated by the Kokura Garrison soldiers in Toyotsu, Buzen (Fukuoka Prefecture). He was executed on December 3rd of the same year. He was 35 years old.
