Ibn al-Amid

…Born in Cairo and died in Damascus. Known as Ibn al-'Amīd. His major work, the Blessed Collection, is a world history written in Arabic, which describes the history of the world since the creation of the world by compiling biographies of the main figures of each era, and is an indispensable source for the study of the history of the Eastern Christian Church.
