Japanese: 小碓命 - おうすのみこと

...The latter is a quintessential typology of the former. According to the Kojiki, Ousu, who was ordered by his father Emperor Keikō to subjugate Kumaso Takeru, disguised himself as a young girl and approached the Takeru brothers at a banquet. He killed them one by one, but when he stabbed the younger brother, he was praised for his bravery and given the name Yamato Takeru, which Ousu took afterwards (Yamato Takeru no Mikoto). Incidentally, Kumaso is a name that combines the words kuma (kuma), meaning corner, and so (so), meaning barren, and is considered a derogatory term used by the Yamato Imperial Court to refer to the barbarians in the west as opposed to the Emishi in the east.
