Masaharu Inoue

Japanese: 井上正春 - いのうえまさはる

1806-1847 A daimyo in the late Edo period.
Born on October 5, 1816. Son of Inoue Masamoto. In 1820, he became the second head of the Inoue clan, lord of Tanagura Domain in Mutsu (Fukushima prefecture). In 1830, he became the Magistrate of Temples and Shrines. In 1834, he became the lord of Tatebayashi Domain in Kozuke (Gunma prefecture), in 1866 he became the governor of Osaka Castle, and in 1871 he became a senior councilor. In 1840, he became the first head of the Inoue clan, lord of Hamamatsu Domain in Totomi (Shizuoka prefecture). He had a fief of 60,000 koku. He died on February 12, 1841, at the age of 42.

文化3年10月5日生まれ。井上正甫(まさもと)の子。文政3年陸奥(むつ)棚倉藩(福島県)藩主井上家2代。天保(てんぽう)5年寺社奉行。7年上野(こうずけ)(群馬県)館林(たてばやし)藩主に転じ,9年大坂城代に就任,11年老中にすすむ。弘化(こうか)2年遠江(とおとうみ)(静岡県)浜松藩主井上家第2次初代となる。6万石。弘化4年2月12日死去。42歳。
