Itogamodori - The return of the thread

...It has many local names, such as Shimaara in Nagasaki, Hatajiro in Osaka, Namera in Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture, and Shimadai in Matsuyama. In Yuasa, Wakayama Prefecture, it is called Itogamodori, which means that it is a fish that does not die easily, as it is still alive even if it is taken to Itoga near Yuasa and brought back again. It lives in rocky areas, but unlike other groupers, it has the habit of often leaving the seabed and swimming in the mid-water.
