Japanese: マウナ･ロア[山]（英語表記）Mauna Loa

A shield volcano in the central-southern part of Hawaii Island, Hawaii, USA. Its elevation is 4,169m. The name of the mountain means "long mountain." It is an active volcano that belongs to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, with Mauna Kea to the north and Kilauea to the east. It has erupted every few years since the 19th century. Mokuaweoweoweo Crater at the summit is an elliptical caldera with a circumference of 8km and a depth of 150-180m, and small-scale eruptions occur within the crater. The lava flow has low viscosity.
