General competitive contract - Ippankyosokeiyaku
A competitive contract is a contract that is concluded mainly when public agencies procure goods and services, place orders for construction work, etc. by publicly announcing the contents of the contract, inviting multiple contractors who meet certain conditions to bid freely, and awarding the contract to the contractor that offers the most favorable terms. In principle, contracts between national and local governments must be general competitive contracts. → Designated competitive contract
