According to the "Itsusenshiyoku History" submitted to the government by a group of hairdressers during the Kyoho era (1716-36), this name is said to have originated from the fact that a hairdresser named Kitakoji Toushichiro was rewarded for saving Tokugawa Ieyasu from a critical condition during the Battle of Mikatagahara. However, in reality, it originated from the fact that in the early days of hairdressing, they would set up a bed by the roadside and shave passersby's hair at their request, paying just one mon for styling their hair, which led to the name "Itsusenshiyoku," and it is believed that this is how the name "Itsusenshiyoku" and "Itsusenshiyoku" came about. ...
