Itabashi Gunpowder Factory
One of the Meiji government's model factories
Founded in 1876 in the former Kaga Domain residence in Itabashi, Tokyo, the company manufactured gunpowder for the army under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo Artillery Arsenal.
