...A general term for those that do not become raw silk when reeling cocoons. It refers to kibiso, yoshin, bisu, agemayu, etc., but may also include selected cocoons and pupas. (1) Kibiso (raw ramie): The threads that are stringed together with a string broom to find the opening of the cocoon are collected and dried.
