The most well-known product is kamaboko on a plate, which is widely produced throughout the country. There are three types: the Odawara-style steamed plate (mushiita), the grilled plate (yakiita) that is steamed and then grilled, which is common in the Kyoto-Osaka area, and the grilled plate (yakinuki) that is roasted from the beginning, which is common in the Kansai region.
