Born: April 26, 1774. Marc [Died] June 2, 1833. Paris. French soldier and administrator. Joined the army in 1790. From 1800 onwards, he served under Napoleon I with distinction, and in 1808 was awarded the title of Duke of Robigo. From 1810 he served as Inspector General of the Police. After the fall of Napoleon, he was briefly captured, but escaped. Later he returned to the army and became commander in Algeria.
