...From Taira in Ozato Village to Kochinda Town, the river runs through a valley-like lowland in the Shimajiri mudstone region, flows north at Tonoha and Takayasu in Tomigusuku Village, and flows into Manko Lake downstream of the Kuniba River. Ishihiya Bridge, located southeast of the Tomigusuku Castle ruins, was once a bypass bridge to Naha Port, and was remodeled into a five-section stone bridge in 1697 (Genroku 10), but was destroyed during the Battle of Okinawa. In recent years, the river basin has been developed into a residential area. ...
