Born December 15, 1894. Worked in the Military Affairs Bureau of the Army, and played a central role in establishing a system for national mobilization. In 1942, he became Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Kwantung Army, and in 1944, he became a lieutenant general. After the war, he served as a defense lawyer at the Tokyo Trials. He passed away on April 29, 1968. He was 73 years old. He was from Oita Prefecture. He graduated from the Army War College.
