A phenomenon in which countless tiny water droplets are suspended in the atmosphere. They are smaller than fog particles. In meteorological observations, a horizontal visibility of 1 km or more is considered fog, while a visibility of less than 1 km is considered fog. Fog appears milky white, while mist appears bluish. The humidity in mist is lower than in fog, but higher than in haze. Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
