[faith]
The mountain that enshrines Iizuna Gongen and Iizuna Daimyojin is called "Iizunayama" in various places, and this Iizunayama is the head temple of the mountain. Iizuna faith is characterized by the faith of mountaineers, ascetics, and shamans commonly known as Izuna Tsukai, and is strongly handed down in the Chubu and Tohoku regions. There are two centers of faith on Iizunayama: Arayasu in Nagano City, where the Satomiya of Iizuna Shrine is located, and Togakushi Village, and the Satomiya was served by the Nishina clan, known as Sennichi Tayu.
