Mixed butter - Mixed butter

...It is made by collecting and kneading the fat (cream) of milk. Looking at the history of its use, there are records that butter was made in India around 2000-1000 BC. There are also references to butter in the Old Testament. In ancient Rome, butter was used as a medicinal ointment, hair styling product, and as a medicine for wounds on elephants, which were used in the military at the time. In Scotland and England, it was applied to sheep as a protective agent for wool, and was also used as kerosene for lamps. Thus, butter was prized in ancient times for medicinal and other purposes, and was only used by a small number of people as food.
