Alfred Jarry Theatre

…G. Apollinaire's surrealist play The Breasts of Tiresias, performed in 1917, has a bizarre plot in which a wife changes into a man and her husband, who has become a woman, gives birth to 40,049 babies, but its originality made it a pioneer of 1950s theater.
