American Keynesian

...The basic position of Keynesians is that the market (price) mechanism that neoclassical thinkers trust does not always function perfectly, and the economy will sometimes fall into an aggregate demand shortage, so in such cases the government should implement active aggregate demand management policies rather than a laissez-faire approach.

After World War II, Keynesian economics was further examined by American economists (American Keynesians). At the same time, it should not be forgotten that the construction of statistical models (econometric models) based on Keynesian theory was also progressing.
