Of the energy required by society, heat accounts for approximately two-thirds, and the remaining one-third is electricity. Heat can be obtained from fuel with 100% efficiency, but in the case of electricity, due to thermodynamic limitations, only a portion of the fuel's energy can be used, and therefore it is energetically uneconomical to convert energy that has been converted into electricity back into heat for use again. Nuclear heat utilization, which uses heat directly from atomic power, is of great significance in terms of both the efficient use of energy and the conservation of fossil fuels.
