A town in Undeok County, North Hamgyong Province, the northernmost part of North Korea. It is a lignite producing area with reserves of 154 million tons. A coal liquefaction industry is running using lignite from the Tertiary layer produced in Gyeongseong, Onsong, Gyeongwon, and Agoji in North Hamgyong Province.
