〘Noun〙 A type of single-story gate for a mansion. In the Heian period, this gate was made by layering thick planks on the roof and then covering it with soil. In later times, some gates were made using cypress bark instead of soil. Azuchimon. Agetsuchikado . 〘名〙 邸宅の単層門の一種。平安時代、屋上を平らに厚板をふき重ねた上に土をあげておおった門。後世は、土の代わりに檜皮(ひわだ)などを用いたものもある。垜門(あずちもん)。あげつちかど。
