Also called "Engi Goki." Diary of Emperor Daigo. Not extant. At the end of the Edo period, when Nakatsu Hiroaki collected the diaries of emperors quoted in old books on court etiquette such as "Nishinomiya-ki" and "Kitayama-sho," he collected fragmentary entries from the year Engi 2 (902) to the year Encho 7 (929) for Emperor Daigo. After that, several more entries were added, and currently, the period from the year Kanpei 9 (897) to the year Encho 8 (930) is known. Together with the diaries of Emperor Uda and Emperor Murakami, it is collectively referred to as the "Three Daidai Goki."
