Tunder, F. (English spelling) TunderF

...In northern Germany, Arp Schnitger produced the Hamburg style organ, the largest at the time, with five pipes, in the late 17th century, about a century after Niehoff, and thus achieved the synthesis of the Baroque organ. Scheidemann (c. 1596-1663), S. Scheidt, F. Tunder (1614-67), D. Buxtehude, G. Böhm (1661-1733), N. Bruhns (1665-97), and JA Reincken (1623-1722), who were successors of Sweelinck, were active mainly in the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lübeck, and established the North German style with organ chorales based on Protestant chorales (congregational songs) and multi-part toccatas that featured spectacular pedals. At the pinnacle of this diverse development of organ music is J.S. Bach, who left behind many immortal masterpieces that beautifully combined the traditions of various countries.
