Trans Jordan

…In Arabic, Filasṭīn. A long, narrow area bounded by Lebanon to the north, Syria-Jordan (Trans Jordan) to the east across the line between the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, and Egypt to the southwest. Its shape is also likened to a sword or a gun.
