Transantarctic Mountains

...The farthest point within the continent is called the Pole of Inaccessibility (latitude 82°06′S, longitude 54°58′E), and was explored by Soviet and American teams on December 14, 1958.

Antarctica is almost entirely within the Antarctic Circle, and is divided into East Antarctica (also called Great Antarctica), an older continental mass belonging to the Eastern Hemisphere, and West Antarctica (Little Antarctica), which is geologically newer, by the Transantarctic Mountains. The Ross Sea is deep in the Antarctic Ocean from the Pacific Ocean, and the Weddell Sea is deep in the Atlantic Ocean.
