…an ethnic group living widely in West Africa. They call themselves Pullo (singular, plural Fulbe), and are referred to by other names such as Fula by the Mande people, Fulani by the Hausa, and Felata by the Arab people. Their language is called Pulaar, Fulde, Fulfulde, Fulbeere, etc., and belongs to the Atlantic group of the Niger-Congo language group. It has many noun classes.
