Larousse XX siècle (English spelling)

...It is also worth noting that from this year until 1957, the Monthly Larousse was published in alphabetical order, which was useful for the revision, and that the dictionary was published in specialized fields such as agriculture, medicine, cooking, and housework. Auge's son, Paul Auge, published the Petit Larousse, a small one-volume dictionary, in 1924, and further published the XX siècle, six volumes (1928-33) based on his father's eight-volume dictionary. It went through several editions until 1945, but from 1950, additions and corrections were added on green pages, and in 1953, a supplementary volume was published that compiled these pages into one book. Starting in 1960, the first work to bear the title "encyclopedia" was published in 10 volumes, the Grand Larousse encyclopédique, which was completed in 1964, and from 1982 to 1985, a new concept was adopted and 15 volumes of the Grand dictionnaire encyclopédique Larousse were published.
