...This lineage has been reduced to around 500-1000 individuals due to the construction of dams on the Indus River. The white flag dolphin, Lipotes vexillifer , is found in the Yangtze River and feeds on fish. Until the 1950s, it was also found in the Fuchun River, next to the Yangtze River.
