A cape at the southwestern tip of the Florida Peninsula in the United States. It is the southernmost point of the continental United States (25°12′ north latitude). It is part of Everglades National Park, and the whole area is a low-lying marshland covered with mangroves. Between it and the mainland lies Whitewater Bay.
