Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, 16km south of the city, overlooking the deep valley of the Okawa River, includes Oya Onsen on the opposite bank. Ashinomaki has been known since the Edo period, and cold water was said to cure beriberi and eye diseases ("Shinpen Aizu Fudoki"). Salt-containing gypsum spring, 45-75℃. Oya is a simple spring, 43℃. 福島県会津若松市，市街の南16km，大川の深い渓谷に臨み，対岸の小谷(おや)温泉も含む。芦ノ牧は江戸時代から知られ，冷湯で脚気・眼疾などを治すとされた（《新編会津風土記》）。含食塩石膏泉，45〜75℃。小谷は単純泉，43℃。会津鉄道芦ノ牧温泉駅からバス。
