Minuten Gedachtnis (English spelling)

...Korsakoff's syndrome causes severe memory impairment, disorientation, confabulation, and retrograde amnesia. As an extreme example of memory impairment, "Minuten Gedächtnis" reported by K. Conrad is seen as an aftereffect of carbon monoxide poisoning or encephalitis, and is a special state in which the patient remembers things well before the onset of the disease, but can only remember things after the onset of the disease for a few seconds or minutes, and is also called "instantaneous person."

…コルサコフ症候群では，高度の記銘障害と失見当識，作話，逆向健忘をきたす。記銘障害のはなはだしい例として，K.コンラートにより報告されている〈分時記憶Minuten Gedächtnis〉は，一酸化炭素中毒や脳炎の患者の後遺症として見られ，発病以前のことはよく覚えているが，発病後のことは数秒か数分間しか記銘できぬ特殊な状態で，〈瞬間人〉とも呼ばれる。
