Minyas

…a Mycenaean Greek tribe. They were said to have been descended from Minyas, founder of Orchomenus in Boeotia, and lived in the vicinity and at Iolcus in Thessaly. There were also people claiming to be his descendants in Laconia, Cyrene, Thera, and Lemnos. It is unclear whether they were Greek or indigenous.
