Onmatsuri Sarugaku - Festival Sarugaku

Japanese: 御祭猿楽 - おんまつりさるがく

Sarugaku is performed at the festival of Kasuga Wakamiya Shrine in Nara (the official festival; the ceremony date is December 17th). Its current form was revived in 1946, and the Noh-related events include Kaijitsu (performed by the Takayasu school as a supporting actor), Yumiya no Tachiai (performed by the Konparu school as a shite actor), and Mikasa Furyu (performed by the Okura school as a kyogen actor) under the pine trees of Yogo on the 17th. At the shrine, following Dengaku and Sainou, Okina (known as the Kagura style, performed by the head of the Konparu school) and Sanbaso (only the Suzu no Dan part; performed by the head of the Okura school), the following day, on the 18th, three Konparu school Noh plays and two Okura school Kyogen plays are performed at the shrine.

奈良春日若宮神社の祭礼(御祭。式日12月17日)の猿楽。現在の形は1946年に復活再興したもので，その能楽関係行事は，17日に影向（ようごう）の松の下で〈開口〉(ワキ方高安流の担当)，〈弓矢ノ立合〉(シテ方金春流の担当)，〈三笠風流〉(狂言方大蔵流の担当)があり，御旅所で，田楽･細男（さいのう）に続いて，《翁》(神楽式と呼ばれ，金春流家元の担当)と《三番叟（さんばそう）》(〈鈴ノ段〉のみ。大蔵流家元の担当)とが演じられ，翌18日の御旅所での後日能には金春流の能3番と大蔵流の狂言2番とが演じられる。
