1865‐1931 Italian nationalist. He published the magazine Il Regno (1903-06) in Florence, and developed literary activities strongly influenced by irrationalism and social evolutionism, heralding the beginning of Italian nationalism. In 1910, he founded the nationalist party, the Italian National Association, and preached proletarian nationalism. He supported Fascism, but after the association merged with the Fascist Party in 1923, his political role disappeared, although he was appointed senator.
