natal dispersal

Japanese: natal dispersal(英語表記)nataldispersal
natal dispersal

...one is the movement of a new habitat at a certain time in its life (for example, bird migration), and the other is the movement of a newborn from its birthplace to its (first) habitat. The latter is also seen in plants and sessile animals, and is called dispersal, natal dispersal, or pre-breeding dispersal. Movement within a home range and movement of the home range itself are clearly completely different phenomena, and cannot be considered as the same concept just because individuals move around.
